I can't get my cycle through inventory buttons to work. Also the
autoupdate won't patch my files, says a old file is there but not the
one it wants. I ran the game before on Win98 SE and had no probs. Now
I can't get out of the first level!! Is there anyone with suggestions
or solutions? Thanx!!

You running a NOCD crack? If so reinstall D3 and try to update but
only after starting D3 at least once so it knows what version it is.

As for inventory buttons, try reassingning them.

No, it is the original cds. I reassigned them to other letters and to
buttons on my Sidewinder, neither worked. I wonder if the cd is bad.
It is skipping the intro scene sometimes as well.
