Okay... I imagine that by now, Descent has started shipping? (fingers crossed) How long will we realistically be waiting for our copies to arrive, assuming we pre-ordered several weeks ago? I want my registered Descent. I want my registered Descent. I want my registered Descent. I can't say this enough. I want my registered Descent. Parallax: Awesome job, guys. You made us all REALLY hungry. :-)

I called yesterday, and they said they'd have most of the pre-orders out in a week or so... Of course interplay messed up my order the first time (ie: "Uh, the order was canceled" - "No it wasn't" - "Oh ya! Sorry, our mistake"). I think that my Visa was charged today, so I hope to see it in a week or so... -- David S. Griffiths: <dgr...@unixg.ubc.ca> (Vancouver, B.C., Canada!) The lady on the phone asked me if the person I placed an order with sounded 'confused'. SHEESH!!! Parallax - you've got a great game, but you need to find more intelligent distributors!! Interplay is truly the most clueless company I've dealt with. Carl ======== no sig, too depressed after paying taxes to think of one. ========

I find it interesting that on the mail (or fax-in order form) there is no mention of disks versus CD-ROMs. So boy was I surprised when my registered Descent showed up in CD-ROM format (ARG!!!). Doesn't do me much good since I don't have a CD-ROM drive. -- David Scavo dsc...@crl.com Smashed up my sanity, smashed up integrity, smashed up what I believed in, smashed up what's left of me, smashed up my everything, smashed up all that was true, gonna smash myself to pieces, I don't know what else to do.
