All in all, descent is an excellent game, I'm still twisting and turning in my sleep. But... 1. Many of the machines we use for death matches do not have sound cards. Descent has plays no sound at all over the PC speaker. This is a major disadvantage. You can't hear doors open or people shooting at you. Even if it didn't sound great, the audio cues are necessary. 2. I wish there was an adequate death match level. Something that has a very large open area with some obstacles and mountains to fly around. It needs to be at least 20 times larger than the open area in level 2. That is where some wicked dog fights could take place. 3. There should be a way of turning up mouse sensitivity. It takes too much mouse travel to rotate the ship. Especially in the up-down directions. 4. Not having a "save game" feature is incomprehensible. We are running this game on computers with hard disks, not game cartridges in set-top boxes! Despite these complaints, I've purchased a copy, and I hope you will too. -- ----------------------------------------------------------------- | Richard V. There are many levels perfectly suited for Anarchy in the Registered version. >3. There should be a way of turning up mouse sensitivity. It takes too much >mouse travel to rotate the ship.
