I see people here comparing descent to some game called "magic carpet" 
..what company is it by ?  Is it shareware or do you have to buy it ?  If 
it is shareware, where to FTP it from ?  Thanx,

No, it's not shareware, but you can download the demo from ftp.ea.com.

I checked it out.  Way cool grfx but I can't shoot dick all.
