I have a ZEOS 486/66 with a USR 28.8 internal modem that WILL NOT
init in either Descent or D2demo.  The modem will init in DOOM, 
DOOM2, and Terminal Velocity.

Can anyone GIVE me a clue as to why Descent and D2 will not detect
my modem?  We have tried EVERYTHING:  Com settings, init strings,
EVERYTHING!  We slap my buddy's modem in my box and bingo, his will
initialize.  I have the upgraded rom from USR, and like I said before,
other modem games will detect and dial my modem.

HELP!

what exactly do you get?
does it let you try and dial?
