Parallax: Will you be including any native support for the Avenger in the registered version of D2? or will I need to get on Spacetec to release a new driver? I currently am unable to use the avenger with d2demo :( (anyone else find a way?) Thanks! You can get partial functionality by doing the following: rename your "descent" ( version I) to something else for now. rename the des2 demo directory to be "descent" rename the exe file for d2demo to be "descentr.exe" fire up the spaceball. The motions should work fine, problems are with the buttons. Edit the descent.cfg file to change button A from FLARES to "drop bomb", and it will at least fire flares again. Button B (and C) appear to fire secondary weapon.. I couldnt get a fire pri to work on the ball.. use the keyboard for that.. ugh.. I config'd the KB to use spacebar for fire primary and use my little finger to hit it.. Map exits if you use the spaceball to manuever it, use the KB to move the map around,, I sent Spacetec a copy of D2DEMO the day after it came out, so they are working on changing their driver to make D2 work. I will post when I hear anything. --ghg http://ghg.ecn.purdue.edu
