What the hell's wrong????????????

Hail! I've got an enigma! When I try to load a saved game or *.dem file through DESCENT, it crashes and say's it can open a file called moon01.bbm or something like that! What's going on! I can't load my saved games! I can't load DEMO's! Help! Please! This might help in solving this puzzle: I have: 486DX, 66Mhz, 4Mb RAM DESCENT (Registered) - CD ROM DOS VERSION DOS 6.2 SoundBlaster 8bit - Sound and Music PS - I know it's not a memory problem!
