Question about weapon strengths

Hi all

First of all, let me start with the standard opening statement. Way to
go guys (and gals?) at Parallax! Incredible game. Just got the
registered version last friday. Dammit are those robots agressive! Love
it that way. Keep it up.

Now that that's out of the way, on to my question.

This was touched upon in the FAQ V1.0, so maybee someone is already
working on it (or maybee the wonderful people at Parallax could supply the
info), but does anyone know the relative strengths of each weapon in the
registered version, as well as the (what I will call) 'shield strength'
of the opposing robots is? For example...

Made up numbers follow

Weapon strengths
----------------

Laser 1*laser_level
Quad Laser*4
Vulcan 1 per round
Plasma 3 per globulole
etc.

Opponent shield strengths
-------------------------

Little orange guy 6
Little blue guy 10
Red Hulk 50
etc.

Note to those of you who may have missed it up above. THESE NUMBERS ARE
COMPLETE CRAP, UNLESS I GOT VERY LUCKY SITTING HERE MAKING THEM UP. THEY
ARE ONLY TO BE USED AS AN EXAMPLE TO WHAT TYPE OF CHART I WOULD LIKE TO SEE.

The reason I am asking is with all this talk that the Fusion Cannon sucks,
and the fact that I have noticed that quad lasers level 4 seem to be more
powerful than the Plasma Cannon, I was just wondering. Note that I
acknowledge that there may be some reasoning why this information should NOT
be known to the player (you are after all going against a previously unknown
enemy), but that's another debate.

Thanks all
