This isn't a new problem. The shareware version wouldn't recognize my 16550, either. I just figured the commercial version would. It recognizes my friend's 16550 just fine. I have an internal modem with a 16550, but I can't select 38400 bps. It keeps telling me I need a 16550. Is there any way I can override this and make it run at 38400, anyway? --Paul
