Know what? I am pretty sure you are blowing smoke. Let's assume the following is a test of competence, programmer to programmer like. I've got a Unix based platform, running a bridge to a Win95 Gate. Now, setting within the Unix base is a liddly ditty I want to run on Win95. Let's call this Ditty1. Now, Ditty1 can't run on Win95 because it is a Unix native. Although the bridge allows programs from the Win95 gate to interact with Ditty1 (assuming something such as CGI), it will not allow a Unix Native to run directly from the Win95 PC. Then there is Ditty2, which sets in the Win95 PC and can access Ditty1. Ditty2 is not a Win95 Native, is written in C++, and runs as a frontend to the Unix gate. Ditty3 is the bridge, setting just inside the gate on the Unix platform. All data from the gate must past through here before reaching Ditty1, and all data from Ditty1 must pass through here before going through the gate. Now, currently there have been some problems with Ditty2 not being able to locate Ditt1. At first, Man A thought that the code could have been corrupted, but after weeks of searching, this was not the case. Man B thought that it could be a problem with either Ditty1s or Ditty2s parity assignments, but again, checking Ditty3 proved this to be wrong. Said Man B, "It has always worked before, and nothing has changed. So what can it possibly be?" "Hmmmm...." Thought Man A. So, they breaked for lunch (their first meal in weeks). At the resteruant, the waitress apprached, and Man A said "I would like the breakfast bar, please." "I'm sorry," Said the waitress, "It's after 11, we only serve lunch now." At that moment, Man A stood up, and with a sudden flash of understanding, said "I've got it! I know what's wrong!" "Do tell," Said Man B. What was Man As answer? rabBit Unsolicited Commercial E-Mail sent to this address will result in either a mailbomb campaign or a virial attack, depending upon the nature of the offending E-mail and my mood.
