Well, I'm getting old at 49. And I guess I can call myself an old timer in relation to Descent. I got hooked on a demo of Descent 1. (Descent 3 didn't work for me.) I've looked in here on occasion over the years, although I don't know how many. Wistfully, I just sort of hope that I'll see some good news about Descent. Of course, I am a realist. It's been dead for a while and those who killed it just can't get around their issues, and the stinky capitalism, so as to help us out here. But I just don't get how a dynamite game like this - nothing on offer today interests me in the least - could go belly up. Was it not profitable? It was fun and I didn't have to kill or rape intelligent, er flesh and blood, beings. Oh well.
