We are playing DOS D2 and Linux d2x using IPX. Everything is fine (great
actually) until level 6. When starting level 6 this error comes up on the
DOS computer:
Error
Your level file does not
match the other player's
cannot join game
I did a file compare of descent2.hog on the Linux box and with another
descent2.hog file and it is the same. However I cannot check the DOS
machine since it only has the 1 hog file on it because it only has the 1
DOS version on that computer.
Any ideas what to try to fix this?
Thanks in advance,
Charlie
