Removing the .plt file didn't help D3....I got 2 error messages, then: 'unable to access Descent3 temp file' use -tempfile to designate a new temp file, and 'unable to access Descent3/cache file. Trying to add a temp file in the D3 directory, and adding -tempfile, with and without the path name, in the command line, made no difference; and didn't help at all, the game couldn't find it, or the cache file, wherever that's supposed to be. Uninstalling the game, and doing a full install on the HD, so it didn't have to read from theCD-ROM didn't help, either. All of the same problems..... Any other tips (PLEASE!!!) TIA
