To all, I decided I wanted to relive the good old days and replay D2 on my newer computers. After I installed it, I tried to configure my joystick and use button 3 for forward, and button 4 for reverse as I used to do in the old DOS game days. I find that when I try to go forward, or backward , the movement is as slow as sludge. The movement is so slow as to be unusable. Has anyone else encountered this problem, or heard fo a solution? Computer 1 is an Athlon 700 with a Wingman Extreme joystick, computer 2 is an Athlon 1.5 gig with a Microsoft Sidewinder joystick. The game performs basically the same on both. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, D.J.
