Greetings all,

Well on the recommendations of several people on this newsgroup I went ahead
and dug up my old Microsoft Sidewinder 3d Pro for playing Descent. I went to
the microsloth page and downloaded the latest software for it. ( webpage
said 3.02 but the install says 3.0). Installed and rebooted after plugging
the joystick in. load up the Sidewinder soft ware.joystick not
detected...well woopy..so I go to the ms page and download the patch. I
installed that and still the joystick is "not detected" any ideas ? My
system is a Epox K7XA mother board, the joystick is plugging into the game
port on my sound card, which is a Aureal SQ 2500. Thanks guys

MechD
