I just found a great new way to defeat the PTMC assault bot at the end of
Mercenary level 7.  When you enter the room, just lay all your gunboys and
get behind the bot...he focuses all his attention on destroying the gunboys
and ignores you!  You can then fling everything you have at him.  Using this
method, I defeated him and only lost 3 shields!
