>I do D2 in insane, fight a lot on the Inet, but no chance in hotshot in D3.-( Well, some parts of the game are quite tough to play on hotshot level. Stepping back to "rookie" makes these spot pretty easy. IMHO the gap of difficulty between Rookie and Hotshot is too big. On the other hand the bots have learned some great moves. During D1 and D2 most of the bots were moving very slow and they didt really dodge incoming shots. D3 robots move more agile and behave more "human". I started D3 on hotshotlevel and from bot to bot I thought something like "Whew, that was a smart one, whew, this one was even smarter...". When I first played Descent (back on my 386, 4MB, 1 MB TSENG ET4000...) I stopped at every corner, locked around carfully and it was really claustrophobic. After multiplayergames, handling of the ship with trichording and hours of hours of training d1 and d2 bots arent a thread anymore (up to "Ace"), we are used to them, we know them, they know us, and they know that they will be killed. I bet, that in 2 years the situation with the bots is the same with d3. But we have to learn alot... keep flying, Lueder
