🚀 go-pugleaf

I've got serious problems.  I love this game but it is virtually
unplayable for me.  I can get throught the first level just fine
but my computer always crashes on the second level.  Sometimes it
crashes when I shift to the map, sometimes it crashes when I shoot
and sometimes it crashes when I pick someting up.

I've got tons of memory and no TSRs loaded.  I try it with and without
sound enabled, nothing helps.  Because there is no mid-level saving
there is no way for me to get past the second level argh!!!

Usually when it crashes it spews out all sorts of text, numbers
and stuff that might be debugging info.  Sometimes it flickers this
yellow "static" like stuff over the screen.

Does anybody have any clues as to how I can fix this?
