After reading your post I decided to check out their sight myself. However the adress was not found. Curious, I went to the sight one rung down, Traveler's Guide. They had a few sight listings but no Faces and Places. I e-mailed Traveller's Guide to ask what happened. The following is their exact reply: Date: Sun, 03 Dec 1995 17:52:18 -0800 From: Eric Richmond <mmc...@travelersguide.com> Organization: MediaManagememnt Corp MIME-Version: 1.0 To: Avi Selk <a...@cyberspc.mb.ca> Subject: Re: (no subject) Yes. They have asked me to take their site down. They are a legitimate business (11 yrs old) with a long list of clients (NBC, CBS) and were unprepared for the flames and negative reaction they got. If you have something to say to them, please let me know and I will pass it on. They were just under the assumption that this is a big happy-go-lucky world without paranoia. I doubt we'll be hearing from them again. -- Sincerely, Avi Selk
