They both use similar pots, although I think TM went for the\ones with fancier components. CH uses an integrated throttle knob, which is unrealistic and prevents the stick from being moved too far left while you are using it. CH does have an ambidextrous design, but TM has the benefit of years of research and millions spent to fit sticks to the hand (by the military). CH does allow some programmability, but to compare the Pro to the FLCS or the WCS/FCS combo in that regard is foolish. However, I would not use the TM for action games at all. The CH is perfect for that sort of thing - I even have one for that purpose, and I love it. So I guess what I would say is, they both make excellent sticks - for different niches. They are both superior in craftsmanship and performance, but for different tasks. As you can guess from the above, I prefer TM for flight sims, and CH for rapid action games. Then again, I may be taking this way too seriously. David Pipes >Robert Dorsett Moderator, sci.aeronautics.simulation >r...@netcom.com aero-si...@wilbur.pr.erau.edu > ftp://wilbur.pr.erau.edu/pub/av
