I may have missed it, but I did look in the program, readme.txt, and manual: it isn't mentioned that to change controllers for a pilot, you pick the controller and then hit the _spacebar_. I went to a controller and hit enter plenty of times, but that didn't change it. Fortunately, I came across using the spacebar by accident, but I don't think it's obvious. Other than that, I LOVE the game. I'm going to shell out bucks for a joystick just to play Descent, nothing I ever did with Doom.
