I seem to recall something about 7 bit vs. 8 bit...? Yes, you need to be able to establish an 8 bit connection. I think some of the newer versions of Telnet allow this, but I don't know if anybody's got it working with Telnet yet. Rlogin is your best bet. Make sure any provider you pick supports rlogin, and it should work just fine for you. Actually, your best bet would be to just call CRIS and see if you've got a local node. It's more expensive than telnet access ($30/month), since it's also a full internet provider, you won't need a seperate provider to access the net. A dial-up node will give you the best performance, and the most reliable connection for games. Cobra * SLMR 2.1a * Genie: D.BARIL1, Internet: akc...@cris.com
