You can open the shield around the reactor core... Fly into one of the
three small rooms that open when you enter the reactor room and let the
door close behind you. Now when you exit, you'll see a door on your
right that opens, revealing a cloaking device. Fly into this room and
again wait until the door closes. Now when you exit, the shield around
the reactor core will open and you have a free shot at the reactor for a
few seconds. A few megamissiles should do it...
