There are different tactics I use for multi-player. 2 person is totaly different, but since I play alot of you guys over IHHD, I wont talk about my 2 player tactics. :) General tactics: Use the terrain to your advantage. -Try to stay in dark areas of a room if dog fighting. -If someone's close to lava, warm them up and fire at the ground. Lava's explosive. -If someone's in a closet (small room with only 1 way out) fire all you have at em. They have to hide somewhere. If you have a smart, that's the perfect time use it. They can't run from it if they have no where to go. Mega's are also nice for this. But a waste. Concussions are underated and are pefrect for this. You have 20 concussions that you've picked up? Now's the perfect time to use them. Don't worry about hitting the player with them, the explosion should do the trick if you fire enough. Multi-player tactics: Never allow yourself to be trapped between 2 players. -If you're in a long tunnel and you have someone in front of you and someone behind you. Fly over/under the person in front of you, or duck down a side tunnel. I find about 90% of the time they'll sit there firing at each other. Wait till either you can get a good shot at one w/o exposing yourself, or wait till they have killed eachother, or just one guy is left. He'll be hurt so quickly kill him too. Not only do you spare your own life (you would have died if you were getting hit from both sides), but you get all their weapons, and possibly 2 health balls. Use your smarts missiles in defense -If someone is chasing you and you don't have much to defend yourself with, fire a smart missile at a wall and keep running. This is far more effective than proximity mines. As I tend to kill myself with them more often than others. As you're running away from someoen, fire the smart at a wall and keep running. Even if you fire it ahead of yourself, they won't hurt you and most likely clear your back side. (don't forget to pick up the goodies) Note: If you have more than 4 players, try the First Strike missions with map turned on. The Total Chaos levels are fun for small groups, but we always have 8 players in the game and they're too small. Fly into a room and some random shot kills you, no skill involved. The larger levels are perfect since you're more likely to find 2-3 people fighting at once instead of 7.
