Well, I was dissatisfied with the response I got monday evening regarding multiplayer save in descent. I can understand the "rush" to distribute a great game, but it leaves me with the feeling that those at parallax do not understand the "value" of a Net save game feature. The Coop player's of this game I feel would whole heartedly accept this opinion. It is laborious to replay levels only partly completed previously. It is totally unrewarding to "quit" a level due to time restrictions thereby giving up all that you have gained. It is in my "humble opinion".... an incomplete game. And many other arguments exist. Weapons, shield, missiles are all carried from level to level as you well know. Weapons/missiles also exist on each and every level. This I know. This is not the point. Surviving from beginning to end is. (with earned lives.) Why oh why Has this been ignored by parallax? This is incomprehensible to me... I did not stick around for the entire IRC on monday. I do not know if this subject was revisited. But I pray that those at parallax will develop a patch that will satisfy the needs of those who would like to play the game through. As it should be played... I cannot think of any greater improvement to this game than that at this point. It's an excellent game, but.... This is what I'm left to think. Come on parallax! Do it right. -- ___________________ jgse...@netcom.com -------------------
