Except, of course, that it wouldn't sell any more copies.  As your
example clearly indicates, anybody willing to buy Descent is going to
be willing to spend a minute rebooting their Intel machine into DOS to
play it.  A Mac port, on the other hand, will actually reach a new
audience; kudos to Parallax for doing one.
