Yes, you can.  You need Kali, a program that is well worth the $20 fee.

I don't know its URL off the top of my head, but you can search for it.

and the answer is.......YES, but you'll need to go to C/net on the web, 
to find out.  I'm not sure if it's still there but it should be something 
about playing games over the net, it's a tad confusing at first but after 
you understand how, you'll be able to play C&C, doom, or any other modem 
game with people all around the world, FOR ONLY THE COST OF YOUR INTERNET 
ACCESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
