Renegade server - unable to connect/timed out - down??

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone has info about the Westwood Renegade server. I tried to connect to play Renegade but it timed out. Is the server down? Thanks, Peter

" the word "tool" is the link to start the download i tried it for TS and it works fine..... below is most of the text from the site.. it includes renegade: XWIS is a community server created by Olaf van der Spek for several Westwood Studios games. Well, I've not tried it yet having just started playing Renegade and haven't tried multiplayer yet.... But thanks!
