new router installed.. now i have connecting problems

i've just installed a linksys router and managed to configure it so that i
have a connection to the net, email etc. but i cant access zero hour anymore
(well my son cant). i get an error message that the password is incorrect,
even though it isnt. so i thought of maybe creating a new account but you
need the password for that too, it seems.

i have uninstalled my sygate firewall, whilst i am fiddling with my network
problems, so it cant be that.

any other ideas, please?

regards
rosie
oh is there a more specific NG, if not this one?

Rosie,
Last first: This news group is as good as any other for talking Zero Hour.

As to your main question. I vaguely recall from the days before I had a
router, that Generals and Zero Hour did not like linksys routers, but I am
open to correction.

I seem to recall my own son has logged onto Zero Hour online via our NetGear
DG834G router, but I guess that is no help to you.

my linksys router works great for online gaming. Other than that comment, I
am afraid I can't be of any help. Sorry.
