C&C95 Music

Not Just C&C95, more like all versions. Anyone know how I can extract the
C&C background music from the game itself, and if I need a special program,
which one please? Either a google search term or a URL would be good -
there's some ACE music from the original C&C and also from RA that i've not
heard since.

Thanks In Advance

Olaf (van der Spek) developed a player for C&C related Video and Audio
files called "XCC Player". I have a copy on my hard drive but I've never
actually tried it. I'll send a copy to you if you wish.

i may still have it, too
when i used it, the only problem was not knowing which file was what song
the file names were just gibberish
of course u could try listening to the game/then the song and try to match.
and of course in those days the songs took up allot of disk space, so i
deleted them
now i miss them. coulda burned them onto a cd

If one of you could please e-mail me about it then i'd be grateful - i
miss those old songs. does XCC also play red alert songs and more recent
ones?

I hope to hear from you soon, and sorry about my delay replying, my
internet has been down and i'm doing a lot of catching up.

Cheers

OK as per Weekend postings

Go to http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/8682/mixpage.html

And use MixManager 3.5 (MixMan) to extract the Scores.mix into .AUD
files, and then used the Aud2Wav converter to convert into Wav files.

Excellent couple of utilities, and the site is still current as of Feb
2004 !

Now able to re live the great TD experience.
