When starting C&C GeneralsZeroHour I get an error prompt sayin something
that I need at least DirectX8.1 or my videocard is not compatible.

Anyone else having this problem or knows how to get around?

Yeah, so as it told you,
install latest DirectX (It's on the game CD I think) to get around it.

Tried to install DirectX from the game CD but it seemed that I already had
the latest drivers already (DirectX 9.0b).
Is there a way to reverse revision of DirectX?
