- they usually allow singleplayer but not sure about online play and of
course you still need a valid copy with serial

Hi,

thanks for the reply.
As said before, I have the original CD's,
complete with CD key and box.
And finally I found a solution.
Maybe it's not perfect, because it eats much additional space on the HD.
But the combination between CloneCD and the Deamon Tools works.

It seems the only thing Renegade.exe does on the CD is to look if it's
there,
since the complete data is in the \Data folder on the HD already
(always.dat...)

which I think didn't before, but I'm not sure, and I won't try as long as
it's not necessary;-)

I got Renegade yesterday - found it for �4.99.
Single-player isnt anything special but hopefully online
may be fun. I installed it and ran the auto update to 1.37
and found a crack to run it off the Hdd from Megagames.
