I'm just full of ideas but this one isn't that bad so let me know what you
think, I wouldn't mind getting some feedback. Maybe it will get recognized,
who knows!

This is a solution to the disconnections who ALT-F4 or (if they're stupid)
hit the reset button on their PC when they get frustrated during the game or
begin to loose. I don't really care what the reason is, it's just lame and
something needs to be done. Okay, here's the idea. Suspension for X number
of disconnects. For example, Johnny gets mad and disconnects from a game.
When Johnny does this enough times, let's say 10 times? This results in an
automatic suspension from playing online for however many hours/days. I
think this would fix this problem that is ruining the Generals community
each disconnect at a time. Myself, I've become fed up with it and have
debated an uninstall because of it.

Yeah it is really really annoying when you are just begining to do
well and kick some ass the opponent quits and the ban sounds like a
good idea but ass for the debated uninstall bit if YOU'RE thinking of
uninstalling the game (or westwood on-line files) then DON'T BE
STUPID!! don't let the idiots that can't handle being beaten stop you
from playing an excelent game

The sad thing is that you get the disconnect negative credit against your
account when someone else alt f4's as well. They disconnect and you get one
recorded too. I know EA updated the multiplayer game so you can vote a
disconnector out in which case you don't get the negative, they need to do
the same for single player quickmatches as thats where I've picked up most
of mine.
What bugs the most is that the disconnect counts as -1 point against your
ranking, if you'd lost you would have lost nothing on your promotion ladder
(other than a lower win %). You've then got to win another game to get back
to where you've started.
I know how frustrated you feel, I've just come offline now after a near on
2hr battle in quickmatch that was really a very good game and when the
balance shifted to my favour, my gaming "buddy" decided to disconnect.

I know it don't help much and probably isn't the right thing to do, but I
write the sad acts name down just in case I come across them at a later date
(only happened twice though) when I give them a few "choice words" and then
exit the match (exit not disconnect). Lets hope EA can fix the lowlife
cheaters problem.
