I used to play USA a lot but because of those stupid trucks, I don't
much more. Would spy drones help med much?

Actually playing USA against GLA is the best you can do IMO.
An army of USA Tanks with gun-drone and a few Humvee's full of bazooka troopers
and with a gun-drone does the trick, you can shoot everything to kingdom hell.
Use this army to take-out the Stinger-sites, then you can use your helicopters
to attack from above... IMO USA is the strongest to play against....
GLA the weakest. (If the AI is playing China, then that is the weakest)

  I play GLA and only send the one bomb truck out to get USA to do just
that, force drone build on tanks. Total annihilation when they meet the
rocket buggies and no repair drone :-)  I find a Stinger site to detect the
bomb trucks guarded by a couple of Raptors (or a helicopter)  the best anti
GLA stealth detector.

 As China, Lotus & troop crawlers over flown by MIG's in guard mode (ground
guarding) detects stealthed units if well placed on the field, she can also
do the disable vehicle trick to neutralise the bomb truck and you can then
destroy it. Only put 2 MIG's to each crawler as a Napalm Storm (4 MIG's) may
destroy your units too.

 Finally, another way to think about it is.... a bomb truck costs 1200 plus
1000 to upgrade to hi explosive and anthrax. 2200 is a lot of cash for your
enemy to spend to take out a 1000 building or defence site. Stagger your
defenses well and spread out and the cost to destroy will be more than your
build cost, giving you game advantage. Remember you are playing a game of
financial attrition and this could give you the financial edge.

a good alternative to the spy drone.....in so far as detecting cloaked units
is to get yourself a chinook or 3.....put a couple of hummers in with drones
flying and full of rockets, snipers etc.

they're good for spotting and if trouble arises you can always unload and
open up....

of course a sniper will spot for you the same but this is good for
countering an offensive or a quick response to anywhere.

additional shots to be vanguished and can you make it before the truck
hit your units? Should Search & Destroy help on the range on these
trucks?

I played US and used humvee loaded full with rocket dudes and laser vs
a scorpion. They can really take out the rocket dudes fast :(

Ok, I thought the rocket guys could shoot with laser lock inside the
hum veee, but they can't? That is maybe why the scorpion tanks kick me
with the antrax :(
