Could anyone tell me if it is possible to play Warcraft I, and/or Command and Conquer over the Internet. I don't think it is possible right out of the box? If anyone has information or a utility toward this end its submission to this newsgroup would be greatly appreciated. Or even better if you would be so obliged to mail me the info or utility I would certainly be forever endebted to yourself. Thanks for your time and effort. -bassman

It's a program called Kali. You can download it from ftp.axxis.com in the directory /pub/kali . While you're there, get the program ppp.zip so you can connect to your server. If you have a SLIP dial up service, then you should get the slip program. After you use the ppp.zip or equivilent, connect to kali central at 204.96.20.10. That's where you'll see others who're playing C&C. Hack-Man

I dunno about Warcraft but C&C can be play over the Internet. A guy invented a program that stimulates an IPX network when playing over the Internet. The program you need is called Kali and you can find info about the program in the westwood FAQ. Also try visiting this page: http://www.econ.cbs.dk/people/dszcpfk/cc.html It's got lots of FAQs and some great programs which make playing C&C easier (though I don't know why people would use them) -- Luka "I can resist everything except temptation" (Oscar Wilde)

Until you give in your $20 you only get a trial 15 mins, but that'll convince you to register - I am an official addict. I think you can get the right software from ftp.axxis.com. You need kali12k.zip, lsl.com, ipstub.exe and pppshare.exe - there is a slip version too, so get anything else which looks hopeful:) Setting kali up is a bitch, but read all the docs and you'll be fine. Then you can play warcraft2, c&c, descent, terminal velocity, ef2000, screamer, whatever. IT RULES. Go get it now. cheers Rob (PICASSO in Kali)

I haven't noticed anyone playing it, but if it works well, and people are playing, I might pick it up... Rainman

Just search for 'Kali' with a popular search engine like Yahoo or Lycos. Farewell, Hendrik AKA Morn mo...@wiesbaden.netsurf.de http://home.fish.net.au/~morn/
