Howdy all, I just started playling C&C and am up to level 5 on the GDI. I was mentioning my beginner woes to a fellow coworker and he said, "Are you using sandbags?" Nope. Supposedly, I am suppose to be able to build sandbags and stuff, from the sidebar. My sidebar has shown 1. Powerstation 2. Tiberium refinery 3. Comm center and on the right side 1. minigunners 2. grenaders 3. engineers No sandbags. Am I doing anything wrong? Jim s.

It's possible that mission doesn't allow you to use them. Never really needed them myself, but I hear they can be used to block enemy units from entering your base. If you build them, no enemy unit will get through, since they don't destroy walls. Also, you can build a line of them into the enemy base and make structures off of it. :) Kinda neat, and very sneaky.

This also stops troops getting out as they do not blow up the sandbags. -- Robert Kettridge

Oh you poor, poor newbie. Sandbags will appear, but like most of the weapons systems available on c&c, they will only come at a later stage. be patient. Daz.
