C&C, Windows 95 and Wireplay

Hi,

Trying to get C&C to work with Wireplay (this is a trial for
a BT multi-player dial-up cheap-ish network thingy), but I
have discovered that I need to free up conventional memory
to get C&C to run.

Slapped:
           DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\EMM386.EXE RAM

in my Wireplay-specific config.sys, but discovered that this
causes C&C to hang when starting up.

Problem could be C&C or (more likely) in Win95's EMM386.

Other than using an earlier version of EMM386 that will
co-exist with C&C, anyone know of a newer EMM386 or patch for
C&C that fixes this ?

Cheers,

Steven

I assume you also put Device=c:\windows\Himem.sys in first!
