The main issue here is not PCI -vs- AGP, it's the quality of the video card (or in this case, the lack thereof); The PNY 128mb NVIDIA G-Force FX 5200 PCI Video Card really sucks. I know, because I have one (as well as a 256mb FX 5600). It is well known that GeForce really blew it when they released the FX series of cards, and as a result many people began buying the ATI 9XXX series. Now ATI and GeForce have released new generation cards, and from all the scuttlebutt, ATI plays second fiddle to NVIDIA cards no more. I would strongly suggest that if your PC does have an AGP slot, get at least a low-end ATI card (the 9200 is an excellent budget solution), and my guess is that you will see a dramatic improvement. Good Luck!
