Go to your My Documents folder. Generals user information is stored in various
files under the "Command and Conquer Generals Data" subfolder.

To change your resolution, edit Options.ini. Specifically, you want to change
the line reading

Resolution = 1600 1200 (or whatever you set the resolution to by accident)
to something like
Resolution = 1024 768

Alternatively, you can just delete Options.ini and Generals will revert to its
defaults.
