It seems that the game simply cannot handle a lot of activity. I've never been able to finish a 1 vs 7 skirmish game because of this. It's pretty annoying if you're playing for more than an hour and then have the game crashing with the 'Technical error...' message box :-( My system: P4 2.4GHz/GeForce4/256MB, still running 1.00 (I think, I've never upgraded).
