Hi, First of all I just want to say that I don't play online at all. But I do play offline a lot, and vs my friends occasionally. I also enjoy watching replays and it seems like GLA is by far the most powerful faction in Generals/ZH. When I play vs the computer GLA also gives me the best opposition. Why? As I see it, GLA's units are too cheap compared to their effectivness. Example: a 900$ rocket buggy can destroy a 2000$ Overlord tank with 1200$ gatling gun upgrade, too keep this overlord alive you need either a 800$ ECM tank or a 1000$ airfield with atleast one 1200$ Mig. GLA neither has or need support units like the ECM tank or aircraft/helicopters, which saves them a lot of money to be spent on even more fighting vehicles. It seems like GLA can survive by solely using three kinds of units in great numbers: scorpions, quad cannons and rocket buggies. These units provide you with everything you need to a low cost. Two of these units doesn't even require the palace. I don't think this is fair, and I thought it was China that were supposed to defeat its enemies by overwhelming numbers. Okay, somehting has to be done - that is obvious. But what? Some of my first thoughts were adjumustments in cost and production times for GLA. However, I think that GLA's units are supposed to be cheap, so this sure is a tricky question. Maybe a large part of the problem lies with the other two factions? The Battlemaster really needs some help, it's not a good tank right now, I think it should cost 700$ and be produced faster with slightly increased armor protection. That would probably help a lot. As for the quad cannon, that vehicle must be made less effective vs buildings, and that gun and the whole vehicle itself should turn around much more slowly. The scorpion rocket upgrade is very effective and it must cost more money and time to buy it. I have more ideas, but this has become a little too much text already. I'm looking forward to your feedback.
