I built a pc with the same as yours except it has a 1.8gig AMD chip and is on WinXP Pro. It was previously on Win98se. Both made a playable game just fine. I do have the graphics on the lower setting, but it still looks great. The only problem is if I have the game paused for any length of time (1 hour maybe), it will lock up the Geforce card. That is to be expected in the room that the pc is in. Its a really warm room and the card is unfairly being overheated. If its cool, no problems. You can always bump up your video card to some of the 128 meg cards out from Nvidia or ATI that run directx9 as well. My other machine has a 2000+ chip with an ATI 9500 pro card. The game never hickups at all.
