Greetings all... A friend of mine has done everything in his power to try to get C&C Generals to work with his Linksys router. We know that his options.ini file is fine; he's called support and their advice did not help. I've completely turned off my firewall and this does not help. He cannot connect either "online" or via network direct connect. He's set his firewall to "DMZ Mode" (I believe that's the name of this mode) where his system should be wide open to anyone - including crackers unfortunately. But that does not even work. I can see his name appear when I try being the server but he gets a "connection time-out". We can play fine if he connects his cable modem directly to the wall and does not use this router at all. It would seem that it's simply impossible to get C&C Generals working in multi-player mode using this manufacture's router. Has ANYONE managed to get this game working in multi-player mode with a Linksys router? Any "secret tips" that may help - some idea that support wouldn't even know? (We've tried to set up a VNC but were unable to get it working). Nathan
