That's why I've switched to Demon for newsreading. > Rampant cheating on case's ladder and other >stuff, such as pursuing some outdoor activities, kept me away. The notion of >"no cheats exist" is about the only thing I've ever disagreed with >joesdad on, I think. >Of course, I am subject to bad moods. Aren't we all ? :-} > Anyway, I'm >sure you don't care. > Not true - I may insist on *my* right to express my opinions but I always allow others to disagree - and be wrong of course. :-} To paraphrase some famous person or other (galloping senility has struck again) - "I may disagree with what you say but I would give my life defending your right to say it" ! >The main thing is that this group has been pretty "noise free" for the >most part. The most noise is "give me cheat codes" and even that is on >topic, if misguided. And irritating ! > The noise of the little agra click, however, is >most definitely not on topic. And it is increasing in amplitude. I don't think you ever gave us a chance - most of the time we're just enjoying ourselves. The trouble is that the "topics" are mainly exhausted now but, even so, no question in AGRA (except for "what are the cheats?") ever goes unanswered - it's just that there's a fair bit more "banter" in that group than most others. If you're interested, I've put together a few of my thoughts regarding these NGs on my "website" (url below). You'll see why I used quotation marks if you visit - it's not a great site! -- Cheers, Chas. http://www.lindsayc.force9.co.uk
