It is meant as a helpful alternative. In all seriousness, and not to be rude, this is a C&C original newsgroup, not an RedAlert newsgroup. I checked and saw you did not cross-post to either Red Alert newsgroup. the RedAlerts are at : "alt.games.command-n-conq.red-alert", or "alt.games.redalert" While we would like to help, you will get more responses there, i can assure you. If your server does not give you the above newsgroups, try the web site: http://www.dejanews.com/ . Sign up for their DejaNews (its free, and no credit card). You can then search for any newsgroup by topic, such as redalert and red-alert. This should give you the options of "alt.games.redalert" or "alt.games.command-n-conq.red-alert", or other newsgroups that happen to be close. You can mark the subscribe box to these groups to add them to your list and treat them as normal newsgroups (without pictures though). It even has spell check. If your question is basic, i would suggest you first go to the site below and read the FAQ from Roger Wong. Alot of people in RedAlert suggest you Read The Formal Manual (RTFM). (OK, so the F is not for Formal). ================================ 2.4.1. FAQs Roger Wong's FAQ/Strategy guide can be obtained from http://21net.com/redalert it includes a lot of graphics and is currently about 4MB. At the moment it costs $5.95, but an extra 10MB are going to be added, bringing the cost up to $9.95. However the free version (1.04) is still available in html/text/zip at; http://www.yrl.co.uk/~jaf/examples/rafaq104.html http://www.yrl.co.uk/~jaf/examples/rafaq104.txt http://www.yrl.co.uk/~jaf/examples/rafaq104.zip The other FAQ can be found at http://www.bart-fam.demon.co.uk/ ========================== Fight Win Prevail (TM) But Never Cheat -- Fight Win Prevail (TM) But Never Cheat -----== Posted via Deja News, The Leader in Internet Discussion ==----- http://www.dejanews.com/rg_mkgrp.xp Create Your Own Free Member Forum
