This is probably a stupid question but...

I just got the beta of Kali and wanted to try it out..never played a
network game yet...but all the games are either closed or it says game
version outdated or something like that.

do I need the 1.19 patch or whatever?  

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for any help...especially if it's e-mailed to me :-)
