I'm still not sure how I was finally able to get the MCV down to my base, except that I used my Orcas on the vehicles in the upper-right corner of the map first. There's a tank, a couple of rocket dudes, and a couple bikers. But they were all damaged by the mammoth tank you start out with (the one that gets creamed right away). So greasing them shouldn't be too much of a problem. Then when the MCV comes, don't take it down to your base right away. See how many more units you can grease before the NOD's Apache wastes you. Then put your one remaining medium tank in NOD territory and leave him there. The Apache will go after the tank, allowing the MCV to scoot down unharmed, or at least relatively so. He'll actually be quite damaged by the time he gets to your base, but when you build the MCV's yard, don't repair it all the way; you probably won't have the money. Just build 2 or three AGTs as soon as you can. Once you're established, the best thing I've found to do is build mammoth tanks. The NOD by now is learning to make marauding bands of biker dudes and buggys, and your harvesters will DEFINITELY need protecting. 3 mammoths in a pack will be enough to wipe almost anything they throw at you, and remember, mammoths self-repair to 50%, so you won't have to replace them. Just remember to put them at the entrances to the tiberium fields; they're to slow to intercept the bikers/buggys if you put them in no-man's land. Build another 5 or so mammoths and then grease the upper-righthand portion of NOD's base. It won't be easy; you'd best get an ACC build to grease the Obelisk towers. Your saving grace is that there's MUCHO tiberium. Let me know if you still have trouble. --The Logopolitans
