I have to go steal a nuke detenator and I'm getting my assed kicked all over the place. I lose all my guys before I can search the base to find it. Any hints or strategies? db...@rapidramp.com 903-759-5536

If you're on the one I'm thinking of, you are supposed to take over an abandoned GDI base. Do this by moving your artillery units (those things that lob bombs (hereafter, "arty's")) west along the river until you are against the east side of the map. You will encounter grenediers and a mammoth along the way.. Also, stay WAY away from the gunboat that patrols the river. That thing will take you out in a hurry. In short, you will have to destroy GDI guard towers by attacking them from the south side of the river with your arty's. There should also be a deploy of a commando, engineers and some other worthless pieces of crap in the upper left corner. (Leave a minnigunner at the far north of the screen to attract the plane.) Guide your men south across the bridge, staying clear of the enemy as much as possible. Continue to guide them south, along the edge of terrain. Once you come close to the river, use your commando to explore west. Explore just enough to expose the guard towers. Then, sic your arty's on them. With those out of the way, move your fleet in the base and capture the necessary buildings. Again, I may be talking about another mission entirely.
