How do I get a surveyor in C&C3 demo?

Hello!

In the single player demo with GDI level, one of the optional objectives
mentioned to get a surveyor in the tiberium area up north. Um, how do I
get this? I did a Google search and it appears to be a structure. I did
not see it. What did I miss? A screen shot and/or video would be 
helpful.
