I run my pc through a server connected to the internet, and my net connection uses windows standard internet connection sharing over XP on a ASDL line. However I want to directly link my pc to a friends (who has same exact set up as me but in differnt location) to play C&C Generals together but he needs my remote IP, every find ip site I use brings up the servers ip and I need to find the one for my computer so he can connectt to me, Can anybody with the knoledge please let me know. Thankyou, David. gowa...@yahoo.com P.S. or if theres anyother way of doing this perhaps seting up somesort of "fake" network between us over the net? could you please help.

I know that you can make a Virtual Private Network with WinXP, but for the exactspecifics I'm not sure. Me and my friends used to use Dial Up Networking on Win98 to play IPX and TCP/IP games against each other, you might like to investigate that as well.
